Cashmere Cat's Debut Album Gets Another Huge Collab [LISTEN]
On Friday, Cashmere Cat unleashed yet another huge collaboration. The Norwegian producer's latest single, "Trust Nobody," features pop superstar Selena Gomez and Canadian hip hop artist Tory Lanez.
"Trust Nobody" is a smooth, sexy tune boasting a warm, tropical-tinged downtempo vibe with plenty of pop appeal. Cashmere Cat and Tory Lanez had previously teamed up on Lanez's single "LUV," but working with Selena was a first for the Norwegian producer.
Co-produced with Benny Blanco and Frank Dukes and co-written by Starrah, "Trust Nobody" was released as the second single from Cashmere Cat's debut album, Wild Love, and it's already his most successful song yet. It debuted at #20 on the Worldwide iTunes chart and #2 in iTunes Brazil. It's also the first Cashmere Cat single that Interscope has officially sent out for radio play.
"Wild Love", the first single and the title track of his debut album, saw Cashmere Cat join forces with none other than The Weeknd and Francis and the Lights.
With the first two singles coming as his biggest collaborations yet, Cashmere Cat is certainly setting high expectations for his debut album. While the album has yet to receive a release date, Wild Love is expected to arrive before the end of 2016.
