Shambhala Brings the Festival Home with New Live Series [VIDEO]
There’s nothing better than going to a festival to check out various sets from your favorite artists. When scheduling conflicts appear, you may have to make some tough choices. When you make the right decision and catch that near-perfect set, it won't be long before you want to relive the magic. But let's be honest, poor audio rips from phone recordings just don't cut it.
Well, Canada's Shambhala Music Festival is trying to bring the live festival experience home through their YouTube page Shambhala Films. The newly-launched series called "Shambhala Live" aims to bring FULL sets from live performances at the fest to your home.
To introduce the new series, they released the video capturing UK drum and bass legend Sub Focus' 20016 set at Shambhala's Village Stage.
"This is one of the coolest festivals I’ve ever been too," Sub Focus said of the festival.
Filmed through drones and several camera angles, the series immerses viewers, taking them straight to the Salmo River Valley. It might even convince attendees to spend less time filming and more time being present, as they enjoy the peace of mind knowing they can find their favorite set on Shambhala Live when they are back home. That's right. Put away those phones Salmo Ranch revelers and keep dancing because Shambhala has got you covered.
Check out the FULL 90-minute set from deep in the Village Stage by Sub Focus below and remember to subscribe to their page for future set releases. Shambhala is celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2017 and tickets sold out in the first day, 11 months before the event - a statement within itself.
