deadmau5 Gives Back to Fans & Community with New Single & Big Donation
With the official release of his new album W:/2016ALBUM/ looming, deadmau5 took time out to make a surprise appearance at Halton police's 17th annual Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign in Oakville of Greater Toronto Area.
According to Hamilton Community News, deadmau5 saw a tweet from the police force about the toy drive in his community and decided to get involved. So he showed up at Oakville’s Canadian Tire, bought a shopping cart full of toys, and donated them in the last minutes of the November 18th launch event.
The Halton police and Salvation Army were nonetheless fired up about deadmau5's generous donation as it helped to kickstart what they intend will be a successful campaign for giving community members in need a better and brighter Christmas.
Earlier that same day, mau5trap announced deadmau5's upcoming sixth studio album W:/2016ALBUM/ was officially available for pre-order while also releasing his collaboration with Grabbitz "Let Go" for streaming and downloading.
Listen to "Let Go" featuring Grabbitz and then pre-order the new album, scheduled to arrive on December 2, at smarturl.it/2016album.
