Watch Skrillex Bring Back His Iconic Mothership for ComplexCon [VIDEO]

Complex Media took over the Long Beach Convention Center in California this weekend for the inaugural ComplexCon. Celebrating music, fashion, art and culture, the two-day festival featured performances from Skrillex, Snoop Dogg and Kid Cudi.

For Skrillex's headlining performance on Saturday, November 5th, the EDM frontrunner resurrected the iconic stage from his 2014 MotherShip Tour.

When Sonny's team was first building the new MotherShip for the 2014 tour, production director Corey Johnson explained the creative process and environment in a behind-the-scenes RedBull feature.

"For Sonny, it's all about creative community. It's all about culture, music, art, working together, and doing it together in a new world paradigm. It's about pushing our limits, and trying things out, and trying to have fun with our lives. It's about pushing our limits, and trying things out, and trying to have fun with our lives. That's what Sonny's about, and that's what we try to embody in everything we do."

It only makes sense that the famous UFO would return for a ComplexCon, an event that was described by its founder as "our generation's world fair."

The triumphant return of the great MotherShip took ComplexCon attendees out of this world with a huge performance from EDM's favorite alien and dubstep pioneer on the ComplexCon Smirnoff Stage.

In addition to delivering a killer performance, hosting an exclusive Chinatown OWSLA pop-up shop and speaking on the ComplexCon(versations) panel, Skrillex teamed up Takashi Murakami and Future Wife for a unique art installation. The "Baburu," which looked like a giant ballon, responds to touch with trippy images and sounds. Check out the teaser below for a taste of their interactive art installation that was on display and open for play this weekend.
