Dillon Francis Reveals New Album On the Way & Shares Details
Dillon Francis called in to Triple J to chat with Linda Marigliano about his love for Australia, shoeys - which is literally the act of drinking alcoholic beverages from a shoe - and some exciting news about his upcoming release plans.
The moombahton producer recently dropped a new single, "Anywhere" featuring Will Heard, and revealed during the interview that this track is apart of a new project in the works.
"It’s more of an LP. So seven, eight tracks," he told Marigliano.
The upcoming LP would mark Dillon's second studio album and the follow-up to his 2014 Money Sucks, Friends Rule. Dillon went on to share that he is shooting for a "spanglish moombahton vibe" with this new project.
"I want to work with more Latin artists," he said.
Dillon commented that his next LP won't be like his 2014 album, which he wasn't totally satisfied with apparently.
"I really want to make something that's more cohesive. I feel like my last album was a little bit all-over-the-place."
