Don't Sleep on Jax Jones Latest Single "You Don't Know Me" [LISTEN]

London based producer Jax Jones is back at it again with his newest track "You Don't Know Me" via Polydor Records

This release comes after the original club hit “House Work” and his remix of “After The Afterparty”. His new single “You Don't Know Me” is highlighted by upbeat vocalist Raye, who previously collaborated with eclectic British songstress Charli XCX.

Drawing inspiration from the bassline of M.A.N.D.Y vs Booka Shade’s 2005 hit “Body Language”, Jax Jones creates a dreamy rework that draws influence from his previous collaborations. Jax Jones has seen great succes with his hit collab with Duke Dumont on his monster single “I Got U” which has received over 124 Million plays on Spotify. He also previously remixed for Missy Elliot and Pharrell’s “(WTF) Where They From.

In a statement, Jax shared his desire to share the music that inspired him with a new generation.

I’ve always been obsessed with the Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. "Body Language" track – it’s been a staple in my DJ sets - so I tried it and it was lit. Fitted perfectly. We approached them and I was honoured when they gave me approval to use their notes. Bringing their classic techno sound to our new house setting is a total joy for me as I always want to show the audience today who the teachers of the music who inspired me are..."
