Avicii Parts Ways with His Longtime Manager, Ash Pournouri
Avicii's team has just released a statement confirming the dissolved partnership between him and his long-time manager, Ash Pournouri.
The statement reads:
"2x Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Tim Bergling and his production/publishing entity Avicii Music AB have parted ways with manager Ash Pournouri, At Night Management. Bergling is signed to Universal Music Sweden and is expected to release an album next year."
Pournouri, Swedish record manager and owner of At Night Management, was a vital role to Avicii’s growing fame around the time of the release of the internationally famous dance anthem, “Levels”. After the release of this track, Avicii received two Grammy Award nominations and quickly became one of the highest-earning DJ’s in the world. However, Avicii has also had his personal struggles as the Swedish producer announced his retirement from touring last March. Avicii performed his last show this past August at Ushuaia in Ibiza, at the early age of 26.

Pournouri is responsible for not only the management of Avicii, but also the 'dubhouse' duo Cazzette and Tom Hangs. Pournouri once said in an interview that he considered Avicii and his fame to be his “baby”. But, it looks like it’s time for this baby to grow up and create a new path in the industry for himself.
