Rusko Reveals What to Expect From New Solo Album Dropping Early 2017
The power dubstep duo have been touring the globe to bring their unsurpassed brand of bass music to the masses, but little had been confirmed as far as what fans could expect in 2017.
Thanks to a new interview, we have an idea of what Rusko's been plotting.
In a Q&A with Atlanta Business Chronicle ahead of his New Year's Eve show presented by IRIS in Atlanta, Rusko divulged about a new solo album which he estimates will arrive early 2017.
Rusko, real name Christopher Mercer, told fans that the last two months he has put shows and Caspa collabs aside to work on "a whole bag of new stuff" that he describes as "old-school vibes with new-school jams."
"I just took the last two months off to write a new Rusko solo record that is coming out early next year. No shows, no Caspa & Rusko collabs — just making classic Rusko danceroll bangers old-school style. I have a whole heap of brand new stuff and remixes to try out. It’s a whole bag of new stuff really — a whole bag of new stuff. So, it’s going to be old-school vibes with new-school jams."
