Deadmau5 Takes on Jay Z and Beastie Boys [LISTEN]

Joel Zimmerman aka deadmau5 has been spending a lot of time in his new studio. As he experiments and begins work on his next album (promised to release this year), he's letting fans in on the process as he live streams from the studio and uploads new material to Soundcloud.

Over the weekend we got four new uploads from the mau5 boss, two of which are actually his own takes on Jay Z's 1997 hit song "The City Is Mine" (which he calls "the carp is mine") and Beastie Boys' "Hey Fuck You!" (which he calls "fuck you too"). Check them out below and let us know what you think of deadmau5's experimentation.
