The first headliners for the 2016 Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium are here. The announcement revealed only two artists, and yet it's already guaranteeing this year's iteration will go down in dance music history.

Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will headline the first night of the festival on Friday, July 22. Reuniting once again, the two electronic music pioneers will be curating their own mau5trap vs Pryda stage - a Tomorrowland first!

Deadmau5 x Prydz is what dance music dreams are made of. While fans shouldn't get their hopes up for an official collaboration, they can most likely look forward to another legendary b2b set. Either way, this news secures what's expected to be a huge year ahead for both artists as deadmau5 works on his new album and heads to Ultra Music Festival and Prydz continues the EPIC 4.0 tour and celebrates the release of his debut album.

The big announcement also instantly made Tomorrowland THE festival to beat this year. Fans holding tickets to the already sold-out event are thanking the dance music gods.
