In a silly - and albeit corny - attempt to promote their annual Gates Letter, Bill and Melinda Gates created what they hoped would become a viral video inspired by DJ culture, which they recently debuted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Sure it's goofy (it's supposed to be, people) but hey, it is getting us all to check out the 2016 Annual Letter, which addresses crucial questions and considerations about the current state and future of energy. It's addressed to younger generations because as Bill and Melinda put it, "[they're] the ones who will ultimately be solving these problems."

"Without access to energy, the poor are stuck in the dark, denied all of these benefits and opportunities that come with power.

So if we really want to help the world’s poorest families, we need to find a way to get them cheap, clean energy. Cheap because everyone must be able to afford it. Clean because it must not emit any carbon dioxide—which is driving climate change...

... A cheap, clean source of energy would change everything."
