The Brains Behind Electric Forest Are Introducing a New Music Festival

After a selling out the 6th installment of Electric Forest Festival in record time, the minds behind the Michigan festival are introducing a new festival in scenic Colorado.

Madison House Presents is bringing a new camping festival to Buena Vista, Colorado this August. Vertex Festival, which will take place over the 5-7th of August is the first large-scale summer music festival to take place in Colorado for many years. Madison House was recently approved the permit for the festival by Chaffey County city leaders after much discussion with the city's residents.

Vertex Festival has been approved for 19,000 event attendees, which will bring a surge in tourism and income to the small mountain town. City residents were concerned with possible population overflow as well as noise ordinances, but have seemed to have reached a compromise with Madison House Presents to have the event end no later than 12am on Thursday and Sunday and 1:30am on Friday and Saturday.

With a festival line-up featuring acts like Odesza, Trey Anastasio Band, and Alabama Shakes, Vertex is shaping up to be a festival for designed for the Colorado native. If you haven't taken the chance to explore the picturesque Rocky Mountain views, Vertex Music Festival may be your best opportunity yet! As a Denver-based publication, we gotta stay...we're pretty excited!
