One of EDM's Top Labels Just Launched a Free Music Imprint
On top of his Diplo, Major Lazer and Jack Ü projects, Thomas Wesley Pentz has risen to become one of the industry's top tastemakers. With his Mad Decent record label, the wildly popular Mad Decent Block Party traveling concert series and his BBC Radio 1Xtra radio show Diplo and Friends, Pentz is an incredibly influential force in dance music.
And now, Pentz is using his clout to bring even more exposure to the artists he believes are the future of dance music. Mad Decent announced yesterday the launch of Good Enuff, a new imprint that will be solely devoted to free releases. Every weekday, Good Enuff will serve as a destination for new music and up-and-coming talent as well as "a quick, nimble and flexible" outlet for artists to reach new fans.
"It embraces the fluid nature of the internet while maximizing exposure with the muscle of Mad Decent’s industry expertise."
All Good Enuff releases will come with YouTube uploads featuring "visualizers" created in partnership with talented visual artists, and select releases will make it onto compilations that will be available through all digital retailers.
The sub-label's debut release is a killer track from Melbourne artist Fossa Beats, and their second release is a not sorry & Wild Boyz! Remix of NGHTMRE's "STREET." Check it out below, and follow the links to get your free downloads.
