5 'Oh Shit' Moments from Day 2 of Coachella [WATCH]

Day two of Coachella came to a close last night after a huge day of music and star-studded surprises. Last night's dance music performers included Mr. Carmack, Lost Frequencies, Matoma, AlunaGeorge, Snails, Justin Martin, RL Grime, Zhu, Disclosure and Zedd. Here were some of our favorite moments...

5. Matoma brings out Ja Rule and Sean Paul

Tom Stræte Lagergren aka Matoma had the Sahara Tent going mad with yesterday's first A-list cameos. The Norwegian tropical house DJ brought out none other than Ja Rule to perform Matoma's chart-topping remix of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Old Thing Back" as well as Ja Rule's 2001 smash hit "Always on Time." To keep the energy high, Matoma then brought out Sean Paul to perform their new collab "Paradise."

4. Skrillex crashes Snails set

Montreal-based DJ, producer and Vomitstep creator Snails put on a neck-breaking show last night for day two of Coachella. The OWSLA DJ was joined by the boss himself Skrillex for a rowdy performance of Yogi's "Burial."

3. Bernie introduces Run the Jewels

Killer Mike of Run the Jewels has been very active in this presidential election. He has not only endorsed Bernie Sanders, but he has joined forces with the Vermont senator for interviews and even delivered an impassioned speech at a rally. Well, last night Bernie returned the favor with a special introduction of Run the Jewels for their mainstage set at Coachella.

2. Zhu closes out with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

The dance music enigma known as Zhu went all out for this Coachella appearance. The "Faded" producer had live instrumentalists who played saxophone and guitar. And in addition to debuting his new song "Generation Why," he closed out his set with "Hold Up, Wait a Minute" bringing out collaborators Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

1. Kesha's "surprise" performance with Zedd

Rumors had been flying in the days leading up to Coachella that Kesha would pop up for Zedd's closing set on the Outdoor Theatre stage. The two had been in talks since Zedd offered to help by producing a song for the singer, who has been embroiled in a lawsuit against Dr. Luke. The conversation escalated into a possible collab, so it was no surprise when Kesha joined Zedd on stage. But it was a big moment for the singer and the #FreeKesha movement, as it was her first public performance in months.
