In a recent article, we counted down the Top 10 Coachella Dance Music Moments of the Last 10 Years, while Bangin Beats reflected on past Coachellas by compiling every lineup ever since 1999. Piggy-backing off of this, we decided to pick out and rank our 7 favorite lineups since 1999.
#1 Coachella 2016
Why? It's the first year in Coachella history that electronic music artists made up two of the three premier headliner slots. Not to mention we had Jack Ü, Disclosure, LCD Soundsystem reunion, Underworld, Maceo Plex, Zhu, Zedd, John Digweed, RÜFÜS DU SOL, RL Grime, Nicole Moudaber, Nina Las Vegas, Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Tchami, Nina Kraviz, Mr. Carmack, Baauer, Snails, Claptone and more!
#2 Coachella 2006
Why? Two words: DAFT PUNK.
#3 Coachella 2015
Why? On top of legends Gesaffelstein, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Carl Craig, Jon Hopkins, Guy Gerber and Claude VonStroke, we had Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Ratatat, NERO, Alesso, Jamie XX, Flosstradamus, Porter Robinson and Oliver Heldens and What so Not, among others!
