Mark "Chris" Sevier produces Christian EDM. He used to be a lawyer, and he wants to marry his porn-filled Apple laptop.

If this sounds utterly stupid to you, you're not the only one. Back in 2014 Sevier filed a motion in Florida, claiming that he should be allowed to marry his Apple computer, arguing that if same sex couples “have the right to marry their object of sexual desire… then I should have the right to marry my preferred sexual object.”

His motion was dismissed, but he hasn't given up his crusade, and just filed a lawsuit in Texas to be granted a 14th Amendment right to marry the same laptop. Of course Sevier doesn't actually want to marry his laptop, but seems to think he is making a point about same-sex marriage... failing, apparently, to understand the difference between wanting to marry a human of the same sex, and wanting to marry an inanimate object.

In 2013 he blamed the failure of his marriage to his former wife (a human woman, just to clarify) on the same laptop, and (unsuccessfully)sued Apple in federal court because the computer "was sold to him without any warning of the damage that pornography causes." Apparently he “accidentally misspelled ‘facebook.com’ which lead him to ‘fuckbook.com’ and a host of websites that caused him to see pornographic images that appealed to his biological sensibilities as a male," which eventually lead him to "prefer the cyber beauties over his wife, which caused his marriage to fail."

Oh, and in case you are wondering, his music is shit. He's apparently no better at making EDM than his is at winning lawsuits. We aren't going to link or embed it, cuz we have no desire to share the creations of a hateful bigot on our site. Google his name if you must. But really, don't. It's terrible.
