Calvin Harris Reveals Upcoming Collabs in New Interview [WATCH]
Following their performance at Coachella, Calvin and Rihanna reunited for a new single "This is What You Came For," which premeired and hit digital stores on Friday, April 29th. Not surprisingly, the high-profile collab is already a massive success, topping the iTunes chart at #1 in over 14 countries.
"[Rihanna] has this iconic voice and when you give her a certain type of song to sing it’s just next level," Calvin said in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest.
With Calvin's track record of colossal collaborations, fans are begging the question, who next? Well, in his interview with Seacrest, the Scottish superstar DJ unveiled who he's working with next while also addressing one of the biggest rumors in the music industry.
Calvin revealed that he has tapped John Newman, Dizzee Rascal and Ellie Goulding for new collaborations. But what about a song with his left hand lady?
Calvin and Taylor Swift are quite the power couple, to say the least. With a total of 11 Grammy wins between the two, the dynamic duo has taken the music industry by storm and could break some serious records if they were to join forces. But according to Calvin, this rumor does not have any real potential to become a reality, at least for now.
"I can’t see [a collaboration with Taylor] happening," Harris said. "She’s about to take a long break… she deserves a long break."
A large letdown for fans of the power couple, but perhaps a bigger triumph is in the works for EDM lovers everywhere.
