At the end of last year, A$AP Mob's own A$AP Ferg revealed in a Billboard interview that he teamed up with none other than Skrillex for his sophomore album, Always Strive and Prosper. In a recent interview with Stereogum, he shared the details of the collaboration revealing the track name and style.
"'Hungry Ham' — though electro-leaning, club-friendly, and easily able to traverse a broad range of fans — is all about the block Ferg grew up on. Ferg kicks off his first verse with, 'Grandma used to call me Mickey Mouse/ But I’m no rat… Seen my niggas’ family members bugging off of the crack/ Your uncle smell like shit like he got garbage in his ass.'"
And now, we finally get to hear the product of their collaboration. A$AP Ferg just unleashed "Hungry Ham" ft. Skrillex and Crystal Caines on YouTube. Check it out below, and let us know what you think.
Other artists and collaborators slated to appear on the Harlem rapper's new album include Missy Elliott, Future, Schoolboy Q, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown as well as producers Clams Casino, Lex Luger, DJ Khalil and Stargate.
