Producer Breaks Leg, Forced to Cancel Shows but Shares Music Instead
Influential English producer Oliver Jones, better known by his fans as Skream, had to break the bad news to fans that he's having to cancel all scheduled performances for the next two weeks after sustaining a serious leg injury.
The Of Unsound Mind label head broke his tibia (ouch!) when he tripped on his stairs this past Saturday. He underwent surgery on Monday and returned home Wednesday.
After being forced to cancel appearances at Digital Newcastle and Extreme Outdoor Belgium, Jones is hoping that in the next two weeks, he'll be able to get used to his crutches in time to be able to hit the decks on May 27th for Sub Club. In the meantime, he's dropped a brand new mix from his couch to tide fans over. Here's to a fast recovery, Skream!
On Sunday I experienced the worst pain I've ever felt...I tripped on my stairs and broke my my tibia (shinbone).
I had surgery on Monday and returned home Wednesday night.
Sad to say I wont be making Digital Newcastle tonight or Extrema Outdoor Belgium on Sunday, really sorry to the crew who were hoping to see me
I have 2 week's with no show's to get used to being on crutches etc...I'm pretty sure I'll be back on the decks for Sub Club on the 27th May...Anyway on a lighter note here's my May Mix:https://soundcloud.com/skreamizm/may-mix-1
Have a good weekend people!"
