deadmau5 Drops New Tune, Plus Confirms Prydz Collaboration
deadmau5 and Eric Prydz are officially in the studio together. The two production visionaries, who have been long time friends, took to social media to confirm their partnership, posting open dialogues about the collab on Twitter and Instagram.
Recently, the two recently performed back-to-back at Miami Music Week and according to Instagram and Twitter, the two were planned to meet up this week at deadmau5’s home in Canada. Prydz’s post of deadmau5’s cat Miss Nyan below is the final piece of the puzzle, proving that this meet-up indeed did happen.
deadmau5 also released in an interview with Armin Van Buuren that the two would rent a studio in Belgium for two weeks leading up to their back-to-back sets at Tomorrowland in late July.
Joel gave fans another treat last night when he shared his first new demo in over a month “Sellout.”
"Sellout" shares some elements with an earlier deadmau5 tune “Nvidia,” but begins to diverge by the drop.
