EDM's biggest names duked it out yesterday at this year's Billboard Music Awards to take home the prize of the golden microphone – which, let’s be honest looks more like a sex toy than a trophy.

With three categories dedicated to electronic dance music, the Billboard Music Awards pins EDM giants against each other in categories of Top Dance/Electronic Artist, Top Dance/Electronic Album, and Top Dance/Electronic Song. Amongst the nominees were Odesza, The Chainsmokers, and DJ Snake. The three that went home with the prize were not too surprising, after topping the Billboard charts in 2016.
