The company behind music identification app Shazam has just release a list of their top 12 songs predicted to dominate summer 2016.

Their list includes big tracks from a wide range of genres, including pop, hip-hop, and country, ranked based on the total number of Shazams plus the rate at which the number of people Shazaming the tracks is growing.

The list features two huge EDM tracks: Calvin Harris' "This is What You Came For" (feat. Rihanna) at #3, and The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" (feat. Daya) at #11.

Because Shazam is used to identify tracks that are already receiving airplay, tunes which haven't been released yet are not going to make it onto the list, so there could certainly be some surprises this summer. If we had to pick one track that will likely come out this summer that will probably join the list, we would say Rick Ross and Skrillex's Suicide Squad theme:
