Afrojack Remixes Hit Rap Song 'Panda' by Desiigner [LISTEN]
"Panda," the debut single from New York rapper Desiigner, is debatable one of the biggest songs since Drake's "Hotline Bling." After its February release, the track topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks. And now, the rap song has an official remix from one of the biggest names in dance music. Dutch DJ heavyweight Afrojack took on the smash hit "Panda" dropping an official remix to SoundCloud earlier today.
The original "Panda" was released for download via the iTunes store at the end of 2015, but was then re-released on February 26, 2016 after Desiigner was picked up by Kanye West and signed to his GOOD Music label. Kanye went on to sample "Panda" several times on his track "Pt. 2" from his critically acclaimed 2016 album The Life of Pablo.
The chart-topping track went on to inspire a number of remixes and covers, but today, we're sharing what's easily the biggest "Panda" remix to come out of the dance music world. It's very likely that this remix will make the rounds at festival mainstages this season.
Afrojack's take on the track brings the song to a whole new level of hype with festival trap elements and a second drop that will make heads spin. Check it out below and let us know what you think of Afrojack's new trap chops in the comment section to the right!
