Artists Mourn the Lives Lost this Weekend at Pulse Nightclub

The public mourned the tragedy that occurred early Sunday morning at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

In the largest mass shooting in United States history, 50 individuals were killed and 53 were hospitalized in a 3-hour stand off with an armed gunman inside the LGBTQ nightclub. This happens as Pride celebrations occur across the country, demonstrating that despite the social progress that has been made there are those who still only carry hate in their hearts.

With the dance music scene being deeply rooted in the LGBTQ community, this was an event that was felt deeply by the dance community. As the country mourned the senseless loss of lives, many artists shared their grief, anger, and sadness about what occurred in Orlando in the past 48 hours.
