Mayor Expresses Concerns Over Dance Music Fest Returning to Major City

Despite repeated efforts to up security and health staff on site, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn shared his concern and his disappointment regarding the unfortunate circumstances that occurred that weekend.

The Sports Authority, they need to look at whether that is an appropriate type of event for this community to host. The types of drugs that tend to be associated with those electronic dance music festivals obviously has catostrophic results for people who make bad decisions." - Mayor Buckhorn
