Dance Music Duo Announces Split After Nearly a Decade
Hungarian trance duo Myon & Shane 54 has officially announced that they are going their separate ways, at least for the near future. The duo, formed in 2008, announced via Facebook today that they have decided to "take some time to explore [their] own individual paths."
They insist that while Myon & Shane 54 isn't technically over, they need to work on their own individual careers for the time being. There were hints of this news in the coming weeks, with both members posting promotional solo content on their individual social media platforms. Myon also performed alone on their last tour, with the exception of two shows.
In addition, their joint podcast titled International Departures remained inactive for a month now, however returned yesterday with the new title With Shane 54.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane and listen to some of their most notable work, including the popular 2013 collab with Seven Lions and Tove Lo titled "Strangers."
