Armada Music Receives Death Threats After Artist Disses Portugal
Armin Van Buuren's Armada Music label began receiving death threats and hate mail after one of its signed artists insulted Portugal's soccer team.
Merzo, a young producer from France, felt upset following the UEFA Euro World Final match between France and Portugal.
In a close match, Portugal beat the French national team 1-0, ending France's hopes of continuing through the tournament.
In response, Armada music released a statement after being hit with a barrage of hate mail due because of the artist's comment.
