Woman Ejected From XS Las Vegas Over Fight With Alleged Groper, Wynn/Encore Officially Comments
On July 10, Laura Nichol was escorted out of XS Las Vegas into police custody following a physical altercation with an alleged groper. The following day, she took her anger out in a detailed Facebook post, denouncing the Las Vegas Metro Police Department as sexist and unfair and announcing that she had been banned from Wynn/Encore establishments for life. By Monday morning, July 18, her post has garnered more than 2,200 reactions and 6,970 shares.
“Last night I had my body and vagina groped by a stranger in the pool at the XS Night Swim party at the Encore in Las Vegas,” Nichol started in the post. “Unfortunately, what followed was even more disturbing.”
She goes on to tell in detail how she was groped numerous times by a few different male partiers until one man groped her body and vagina while she floated in the XS pool. She explains that she began to fight her groper before swiftly being separated by club security. She maintained that female security members were understanding and attentive but soon found male LVMPD officers to be suspicious of her claims and belittling with their comments.
According to her post, she was detained, made to feel like a burden, and subjected to sexist comments. Her full Facebook post reads as follows:
