On July 15, 2016, Netflix introduced its new original series, Stranger Things. And since then, the sci-fi series has gone viral, practically becoming a cult show overnight. Even progressive house legend deadmau5 is a fan.

Joel Zimmerman paid tribute to the original theme music for Stranger Things in one of his livestreams. Using analog synths, Joel recreated the captivatingly ominous music from scratch. Watch the almost three hour stream from deadmau5's in-home studio in the video below.
