Early this morning Florida-based trap producer Big Makk (real name Samisoni Koroitamudu) was involved in a fatal car accident that killed 3 people.

The accident occurred just before 7am this morning in Casselberry, Florida, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Although details are still emerging about what caused the fatal crash, we at EDM.com and Artist Intelligence Agency wanted to express our deepest condolences to family, friends, and fans who are impacted by this tragic loss.

Big Makk came on to the scene a year ago with the release of "Jenga" on Artist Intelligence Agency's Trap imprint.

Big Makk's sound was brought to audiences far and wide after Bassnectar began sampling the track in his sets. Bassnectar recently brought the trap-producer to Colorado to perform at Bass Center this past July.

Big Makk continued on an upward trajectory with the release of "BANDZ" on Mad Decent which helped to garner even greater support around his eclectic trap beats. Big Makk also made waves with releases on Dim Mak, T&A, Sol Selectas, and several other notable labels.

With heavy hearts, we say our final goodbye to Big Makk, an amazing person and talent taken too soon.

Rest easy knowing you were loved by many.
