"It's super easy to be apathetic. What is harder is to do our research and show up in society as a warrior, standing up for our values. There is so much more at stake than who gets to be the next President. Often it is the local politics that affect us the most, especially when it comes to the politics of dancing. We need our electronic music fans to vote in people that are nightlife and drug reform friendly if we want our scene to survive." -- Janine Jordan, Executive Director EMA
EMA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and global membership alliance of dance music fans, artists, and industry idealists. Encourages our community to be the "Sound of Change." EMA organizes around issues important to the community like health, safety, greening, and giving back to local communities through charitable works. We work to educate our community about these issues and create programs that offer fun & effective solutions.
