Last night marked the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Moderated by NBC journalist Lester Holt, the debate was streamed live by several publications and organizations on Facebook and around the web.
Millions of people across America and the globe tuned in to watch the two major party candidates present their case as they were asked to discuss major issues from race relations and the economy to foreign policy.
Last night's debate broke a twitter record as it became the most tweeted-debate in history. There were over 10.3 million tweets during the 90 minutes the debate was broadcasting. According to one report, the top moment was when Trump claimed to have a "winning temperament," followed by Trump's opinions on stop and frisk.
Amidst the play-by-play and serious discussions that could be found on Twitter was some pretty funny commentary.
