Bonnaroo Drops Massive Lineup Topped By U2, Flume And Major Lazer
Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival has announced their initial artist lineup today, revealing a truly massive program for their upcoming 2017 event. Topping this year's lineup announcement are U2, who will perform their seminal album The Joshua Tree for their first ever headlining appearance at a US festival, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Weeknd.
As we've come to expect from Bonnaroo, the 2017 lineup arrives as an encompassing talent roster that spans the gamut of pop, rock, hip hop and EDM. On the dance music front, we have enticing acts like Flume, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Getter, NGHTMRE and REZZ, to name a few.
Other notable entries include Lorde, Tove Lo, The xx and many more. Bonnaroo has truly outdone themselves with the 2017 lineup, and music lovers planning to hit "the farm" this summer will be in for one of the more memorable entries in the festival brand's history.
The sixteenth annual edition of Bonnaroo is scheduled to kick off June 8-11 and will return to the usual location of Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee. Brimming with more than 100 artists and thirteen unique stages in total, this year's outing is shaping up to be an unforgettable music experience.
