The BPM Festival Announces New Locations for 2017 Expansions
The BPM Festival is currently commemorating 10 years with 10 days, over 375+ Artists and one wild and magical journey in heavenly Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Just as the world-class festival kicked off their big anniversary celebration, the brand revealed exciting news!
The BPM Festival has announced expansions in two new locations. Spring 2017, the festival will find itself in the beautiful Brazilian beach towns of Praia Brava, Itajai and Balneário Camboriú. Then later in the year, the festival will head to the idyllic European shores of Portugal.
The BPM Festival: Brazil will take place April 28 through May 1, 2017 at the Warung Beach Club. The ionic open-air venue became the home of the first Brazil edition thanks to a new partnership between BPM co-founders and directors Craig Pettigrew and Phillip Pulitano and Warung Beach Club owner Gustavo Conti.
For the inaugural Portugal BPM, Pettigrew and Pulitano have teamed up with Will Gregory. Below are statements from both co-founders and directors about the brand's new expansions.
"BPM’s organic growth over the last 10 years speaks to the integrity of the artists and the music that we present. We’re proud to have launched a dozen plus DJ careers and be a stand out platform for quality underground music. We are looking forward to expanding our vision and festival family aesthetic to Brazil and Portugal." - Craig Pettigrew
"After 10 years of honing our craft, we’re ready to take our grand show on the road. We hope to continue our commitment to diverse and forward-thinking lineups and expand to new territories and show the beauty of the different countries to our international fans who are the true techno tourists." - Phillip Pulitano
