Popular Venue The Hoxton Announces Closure & Final Events

The Hoxton nightclub in Toronto, Canada announced its closure on January 12th, 2017. The nightclub has become a premier source for live music in Toronto over the last six years and is well known around the city to be the home of the afterparty. The announcement was made through their Facebook page along with a farewell poster commemorating many of the acts to grace The Hoxton stage.

Diplo, Skrillex, Zeds Dead, Lido, Flume, The Chainsmokers, Madeon, Porter Robinson and even Kanye West are just a few of the artists that have passed through The Hoxton.

Locals will have one last chance to enjoy the venue in a string of closing parties in January. The closing parties will include appearances by Kill the Noise, Deorro, and Joyryde. The final night will feature the reoccurring No Neon event hosted by Toronto local, Hunter Siegel. The full lineup and dates are below.

The reason for the club's closure was not disclosed by The Hoxton, but it's likely due to housing development. Condo developments have already claimed other victims including local favorite venues like the Government Nightclub, arguably Toronto's most iconic dance music club.

Now, the home of the afterparty "The Hoxton" will close its doors, but not quietly! Make one last visit to the Hoxton to witness this gem of a nightclub go out with a bang. Tickets can be found at
