Where, when, why: I went by myself in mid-August for one week to Novalja, Croatia, specifically to attend a techno-music festival called Sonus. I am a big electronic-music fan, and have listened to techno since I lived in Hamburg a couple of years ago. I planned the trip with a friend initially, but she backed out at the last minute due to a family commitment.
