Hakkasan Organizes Vegas Benefit Show Featuring Tiesto, Zedd, Kaskade and NGHTMRE
The wounds of the Vegas shooting are still fresh. In the wake of the horrific tragedy, which left 59 dead and over 500 injured, people are rallying together in support of those affected.
Las Vegas, known for its unparalleled vibrant nightlife, has become a hub for electronic music. Major nightclubs and venues are now centered around electronic music acts, with many artists having residencies at clubs.
With a growing culture comes a sense of community, and it’s great to see people giving back to Vegas. Big names like Diplo, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, and The Chainsmokers, among others, have donated sizable sums to victims of the shooting. What’s more, many of them have been challenging fellow artists to do the same.
Now, international hospitality company Hakkasan Group - owner of prominent Vegas clubs like Hakkasan, Jewel, Omnia and Wet Republic - is making a contribution of their own. They are organizing a benefit concert on November 7th at Omnia nightclub, featuring performances by Tiesto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, Cash Cash and NGHTMRE.
Here’s what Hakkasan CEO had to say to Billboard:
“We are all still feeling shock and sadness following last week’s attack, and of course the victims, their families and all of those impacted are at the forefront of our thoughts. With this event we hope that our company, partners and friends can not only give back to the community, but also show that we’re united, and stand together in the face of this tragedy.”
