Check Out Pioneer DJS-1000: A Sampler In A CDJ Sized Body

Pioneer is back with yet another new piece of hardware. And a lot of live performers and fingers drummers will rejoice with this new piece of tech. It's called the DJS-100, which is basically a sampler instrument in almost same aesthetic structure as CDJ. In simple terms imagine Native Instruments Maschine had a child with Pioneer’s CDJ. The whole package does looks really intuitive and interesting though.

The new standalone sampler features 16 velocity sensitive pads, a 16-step sequencer, a 7 inch touch screen interface and loads of on board effects. Not only this, but the new piece of hardware from Pioneer comes with 2500+ built in samples from Loopmasters too, so you can start having fun straight out of the box. The eights onboard effects include various types of filters, delays, reverbs etc. so this definitely opens up new possibilities for live performers and DJs to add that something extra to their sets. There are various other features that will for sure take your sampling creativity to a whole another level. And even though this new sampler looks and performs a lot like Pioneer’s TORAIZ SP-16, but the fact that this looks like CDJ-2000 NXS2’s brother, will make the setup look a lot minimal. Check out this really neat introduction video below for more information:

Also, to keep things in time, the DJS-1000 can sync over MIDI, but it also has a “Beat Sync” function that synchronizes the output by beat or bar depending upon any track that is playing on a CDJ-2000NXS2 or XDJ-1000MK2 using the DJ Link feature. If this interests you, you can buy this one hell of a controller which will be available later this month for €1,299.
