Sigma Release New Single ‘Forever’ Featuring Quavo and Sebastian Kole
British DJ and production duo Sigma released their new single “Forever.” The new song features Quavo and Sebastian Kole, and it's out via Astralwerks.
“Forever” makes a step in a new direction for Sigma, replacing their signature drum and bass sound with some trap and even hip-hop influences.
In a press release, one half of the duo, Joe Lenzie says:
"Forever is the next step in our story. Cam and I have always wanted to make music that had that hip-hop feel to it. It’s a genre we’ve both had a strong association with growing up and also with the music we've previously made."
Cameron Edwards, the duo's other main musical component adds:
"Working with Quavo and Sebastian has been great. It was the first time we had been to LA to record, so for a record like this to come together so naturally out there was pretty crazy. "
Quavo, part of the trio Migos, is making huge steps forward in the hip-hop scene, making himself one of the hottest artists around. Sebastian Kole, on the other hand, grew from talented songwriter real hitmaker. He is best known for his collaboration with Alessia Cara on her single “Here.” He recently released his own album Soup.
Since their start in 2011, Sigma made a massive success in dance music scene. They sold more than five million singles, racked up over 500 million streams, and earned two Brit Award nominations. They also collaborated with names such as Paloma Faith, Rita Ora, Take That, Ella Eyre or Labrinth.
