Skrillex, Macklemore, & More to Perform Zedd's ACLU Fundraiser
In today's volatile political environment, it can be difficult to see the positive things happening among the disruptive and destabilizing changes made by the new Trump administration.
Trump's recent executive order to temporarily ban refugees from 7 Muslim-majority countries has been met with strong criticism by both citizens and political leaders due to the unprecedented government endorsement of policy that supports religious discrimination under the veil of 'national security'.
The American Civil Liberties Union has been working hard in the Federal courts to halt what has colloquially been coined as Trump's Muslim Ban, but the ACLU cannot be left to do the work all on their own.
Zedd recently announced that he would be organizing a fundraiser to donate money to the ACLU to help the organization continue to fight for social justice. Today, Zedd dropped the first phase of the lineup for the upcoming event which will take place on April 3rd at The Staple Center in Los Angeles.
Skrillex, Halsey, Macklemore, Zedd, and more will be using the power and influence of music to enact positive chance that will support the greater good.
If you feel strongly about the liberties that the ACLU is working strongly to protect, stay tuned for ticket on-sale info which will announced next Thursday!
