Musician Invited to Tour with The Chainsmokers After Cover of "Paris"

Musician Tony Ann has drummed up around 8,000 YouTube subscribers and 2,000 Instagram followers with his out-of-this-world piano playing abilities and stunning covers of popular songs. But we're going to go ahead and guess that even in his wildest dreams, the Canadian pianist didn't imagine what would come of one of these covers...

Tony Ann studied piano at the Cleveland Institute of Music and is now attending Berklee College of Music for Contemporary Writing & Production. Amidst his studies, he finds time to share his passion for pop music by uploading videos covering songs from Taylor Swift, Mike Posner, Justin Bieber, Drake and more.

Not long after uploading his take on The Chainsmokers latest hit single "Paris" in a jaw-dropping piano cover, Tony Ann was contacted online by none other than EDM superstars, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, themselves.

Drew and Alex had apparently seen previous covers and were so taken back by his talent that they decided to invite Tony on tour, according to a post The Chainsmokers shared on their Instagram page.

Fans will be able to see Tony Ann tickle the ivories on The Chainsmokers' highly anticipated Memories Do Not Open Tour kicking off April 13, 2017 in Miami, FL.

The #MDNOTour is in support of The Chainsmokers' forthcoming debut album, which was announced on January 30th.
