Watch Skrillex Reunite with From First to Last for 1st Performance in 10 Years
Yep. You heard that right. Sonny Moore aka Skrillex reunited with his former band members last night for a secret reunion show in LA.
Last night, Skrillex took the mic for his performance with From First to Last in 10 years. The former front man-turned DJ originally joined the alternative emo band in 2004 at the tender age of 16. After recording two studio albums and doing extensive touring with the band, Sonny eventually left the band after suffering severe damage to his vocal chords that resulted in several surgical operations. Despite the the news being crippling to our self-esteem in the emotional year of 2007, Sonny Moore continued his path to greatness and became the incredible producer and DJ that we all know and love today.
Earlier this month, From First to Last reunion rumors began to circulate after the band released a new single "Make War" featuring Sonny on vocals. Last night those rumors came to realization as From First to Last took the stage as a full-piece at Emo Nite LA.
Skrillex shared a livestream of the performance on his Instagram, check out the videos below to reminisce on the days of shaggy haircuts and snakebites:
