REZZ Pays Homage To Silent Hill With New Track
Following up on her recent collaboration with newcomer k?d on "Fourth Impact" last month, REZZ is back this week with a new release. Taking to her secret tunes SoundCloud channel, the producer has uploaded a new song titled "Silent Hill," which was inspired by the video game franchise of the same name.
"Silent Hill" sees REZZ delivering yet another solid outing in her signature, industrial tinged style. The new track kicks off with a haunting synth melody set against a dark chord progression. Before long, a swell of noise signals the first drop, as grungey bass and slow riding drum hits enter the mix to craft a sinister rhythm. REZZ keeps things short and sweet, wrapping up the tune at the three minute mark after a second run through the drop.
For most people, playing video games isn't exactly a productive activity, but for REZZ gaming is just another opportunity to conjure up some inspiration. "Silent Hill" arrives as another solid offering for the producer, and just goes to show how she's become one of the most talked about up and comers in dance music in record time.
