Producers Give Fans a Behind the Scenes Look of their Smash Hits!
Youtube and Instagram have come the forefront of educational possibilities by giving us an inside look into professions and hobbies than at one time were nearly unattainable.
With producers and their popular songs, we usually witness the end result but fail to see the less glamorous work that comes with it.
Generously, Calvin Harris, Kygo, and The Chainsmokers have utilized these platforms to help others with their music endeavors. Yesterday Calvin Harris shared to Twitter a video creating his latest song “Slide,” featuring Frank Ocean and Migos. Step by step, he allows his fans to take a peek at the craft behind the art.
A few days ago, Kygo also posted a video to Instagram sharing the making behind his recent hit featuring Selena Gomez, “Its Ain’t Me."
The Chainsmokers began this trend through Youtube by making tutorials explaining how they made their hit songs such as “Roses” and “Don't Let Me Down”. Starting from the concept to the final product, they articulately explain the tedious process. Drew Taggart of the Chainsmokers explains at the end of one of his tutorials stating quote “I grew up and taught myself how to produce off YouTube tutorials, I figured it was time to give back”.
We agree and we appreciate you!
