Alan Walker hits 1 Billion plays on Youtube with 'Faded'
Alan Walker, 19-year old Norwegian producer has just passed the 1 billion plays mark on Youtube with his single 'Faded'. The major hit song was first released in 2015 through Mer Musikk.
Walker now joins the ranks of huge names like Eminem, Rihanna, Major Lazer, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Bieber, Adele and David Guetta for having reached the major milestone. On their Twitter page, Youtube themselves posted a short video to celebrate his success.
Alan Walker is relatively new name on the scene, first emerging in 2014, and gaining mainstream popularity with single 'Faded' a year later. In his short career, 19-year old has released eight singles, with other most notable being 'Sing me to Sleep' and 'Alone', both hitting #1 in Norway. In 2016 he played at X Games Oslo, at the first edition of the festival held in Norway. Walker regularly plays all over the world, and some ot the tour dates can be find below.
