Estimated 12 People Burned With Acid During Attack At London Fields
Late Sunday night, police have reported there was an attack at the London Fields venue while a Lovejuice Warehouse Party was taking place. The only information currently available is that it is believed that one man threw corrosive liquid targeted at two men during the incident.
While there was only two men initially targeted, the aftermath of the attack caused an additional ten other people occurring injuries. Ten people were originally sent to the hospital with minor burns, while another two people were later taken to the hospital. Nearly 600 people were evacuated for the East London venue, Mangle E8 on Sunday evening. There isn’t much more information available concerning the motive of the acid attack or how the perpetrator brought the corrosive substance into the club.
This is the last thing you want to hear about innocent people attending event with the pure intentions to have fun and enjoy their night out. There is no room for this type of behavior in the electronic music scene, nor anywhere in general. This is just another example about how anything can happen anywhere. When you go out to the club, concerts, music festivals, etc, you should always be vigilant and be aware of where your exits are to help you stay safe.
