As Shelter Comes to an End, We Came Up With a Artist Collaboration Tour Wishlist!
Prepare for the waterworks as we say farewell to the Porter and Madeon Shelter Live Tour this weekend at Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
The pair went on an epic worldwide journey - touching millions of people with their stunning visuals and melodic tunes. The duo met online at the tender age of 12 and 14 – never imagining they would take on a worldwide tour together! Although our wildest dreams came true, a hunger for a new surprise joint tour has arisen. As we yearn for a new collaboration tour to be announced, we cannot help but create a wishlist of our most desired duos to take the future stage!
Let it be known, that this wishlist is our shoot-for-the-moon, best case scenario, where the stars and planets align, and the universe provides giving us our dream tour collabs.
Or for fun, you could say.
1. Flume x The Weeknd
While Flume has been delving into R&B and Hip/Hop influences in his latest album Skin and The Weeknd has been collaborating with electronic duo Daft Punk – We can imagine a stellar set coming from these two!
2. ODEZSA x RL Grime
With ODESZA’s ambient sounds and RL Grime’s filthy trap drops, crazy would be an understatement with this pair live.
3. Tchami x Jauz
If you mix future house with some trappy bass house vibes you get head banging magic. Put these two together and I can guarantee you will be jumping all night long.
4. Deadmau5 x Daft Punk
With Daft Punk’s many surprises, our imagination runs wild with endless possibilities of collaborations. And with Deadmau5' incredible use of stage production with the original cube and cube 2.1, these world famous masked duos would deliver a legendary show!
5. The Chainsmokers x Dillon Francis
With both their exponential growth and humorous antics, we cannot help but think this would be a match made in heaven.
What would your dream collaboration tour be!?
I enjoy influencing and connecting people through all forms of media - a life enthusiast with a passion for all things involving music, film and art.
