Global Dance Festival Makes a Statement With Its Biggest Lineup Yet
If you somehow haven’t heard of Global Dance Festival yet, you’re missing out. Claimed to be “The biggest summer dance music event in the Rocky Mountain USA”, the festival is a staple for Denver, Colorado. Returning for its 15th year this summer, the festival will take place on July 21st and 22nd.
Every year up until now, the festival has been held at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre located south of Denver. However, due to new sound restrictions for the area as well as a smaller capacity, the festival is moving to Mile High Stadium. Some festival-goers are upset, saying that going to the iconic outdoor venue was an essential part of the experience as a whole. On the other hand, the stadium can hold over 50,000 more people so there will be a much larger opportunity to purchase tickets.
Now for the lineup! On Wednesday, 11 bass-heavy acts have were announced. The lineup is stacked with different types of EDM, including techno, house, and drum and bass. Attendees will have the chance to dance the weekend away with Deorro, Nero, Green Velvet, 3LAU, Kaskade, Louis the Child, ZHU, Hardwell, and Porter Robinson. Dubstep fans are most excited about for a rare b2b performance by some of Canada's finest, Excision and Datsik! This exciting announcement makes us wonder what other surprises the festival has up their sleeve for their anniversary. Make sure to keep an eye on their Facebook for the full lineup!
Both one and two-day tickets will go on sale April 26th on axs.com at 12pm MDT. 25% payment plans will be available for all ticket options.
For those who want the VIP experience, ticket holders will receive a separate entry, private viewing area, as well as a commemorative laminate and lanyard. They will also have access to the Global VIP Village which has private bathrooms and a private bar with lounge seating areas.
