Things Get Spicy for DJ Snake in This Hot Ones Interview [WATCH]

The French DJ and producer, who is perhaps best known for co-producing "Turn Down for What" and collaborating with Major Lazer for "Lean On," took on the spicy challenge in this video interview. For those who haven't stumbled across this YouTube series, produced under Complex, Hot Ones is an interview accompanied by eating chicken wings with various hot sauces.
Startingoff with sriracha, DJ Snake revealed some background snippet for his most record breaking tracks. He said that “Turn Down for What” took a year to take off and he got Justin Bieber’s vocals for “Let Me Love You” on a very last minute after he finished his album Encore.
If you are an avid fanof DJ Snake’s Snapchat, you are familiar that this Parisian producer's love of football. When in Miami, he even hosted a soccer tournament with all the DJs in town. He said that Kygo surprised him the most.
“It's not every day that I meet an artist who kind of represents his stage name like a bad tattoo that he regret” interviewer Sean Evans said. Turns out, DJ Snake hates his stage name too. The name derived from when he was 14 and running around Paris as a graffiti artist. DJ Snake even took a swing at Diplo, saying that Diplo’s name is bad too.
Brazil’s favelas are DJ Snake’s favorite underrated city to party at. In the interview he says that in Brazil people are just there to dance, they don't take out their phones, they only have few speakers but when the beat drops, you can hear a couple of gunshots. That's hardcore.
