Bumbershoot Drops Stacked 2017 Lineup with Flume, ODESZA, and More
Seattle’s classic music & art’s festival is returning this Labor Day weekend for its 46th year. From September 1st to September 3rd, the Seattle Center grounds will be filled yet again with booming music and crowds of dancing people. This contemporary festival hosts artists of all genres as well as different arts and activities.
Headliners listed on this year’s lineup include Flume, Lorde, and ODESZA. Alongside them are performers Dillon Francis, Jauz, Louis the Child, Cash Cash, Slushii, and more. Some other artists gracing the stage outside of the EDM genre are Big Sean, HAIM, The Roots, and X Ambassadors. In addition to music, there will also be “comedy”, “words & ideas”, and “arts & cultures & food” showcases.
In between sets, attendees can also visit their yoga experience Yogashoot, which will surely draw all the music-loving yogis to the area. An exhibit called Flatstock, presented by the American Poster Institute, will feature various works from the top-rated poster artists in the world. If you’re making this a family trip, there will also be a kids zone and special performances under the name Youngershoot.
GA, VIP, and Emerald passes will be on sale this Friday, April 28th at 10am PST on bumbershoot.com.
